I want to change my approx. 1 ˝ year old Graupner SAFT 300 NiMH Battery (weight 245 gram), maybe to a Fromeco Peerless + Arizona Regulator (Complete weight 247 gram):D

But I think I have a CG problem on my Fury Extreme. :(
I have now moved the battery tray, backwards, against the Mainframe, and moved the old battery + receiver, closer to the main shaft/mainframe

When I now control the CG by:

- lifting the heli in the Flybar (with empty Tank) it looks like the rear of the lading gear, slikps the ground first -> a little bit tail heavy.

- I have also tried to lift the heli at the Mainbladeholders, tilt the heli to knifeedge, then the tail I turn down, very slowly,,,, Front of the skids

Is that a okay / Optimal CG on the Extreme?

Knud,
I use the Duralite 4000 mah pack on my Extreme. I had the battery tray extended as far out as possible on the mount. I also put the battery and receiver as far as I could on the mount. Lifting the heli by the flybar positioned 90 degs to the tail boom. With an empty tank the back of the skids would come about 1/2 inch off the table before the front.
Ideally you want the heli slightly on the nose heavy side.

Hi David,

I have always thought that the Extreme should be level when lifting it up in the flaybar, with 1/2full tank…..but that seems then to be wrong,,,,

What it the weight for your battery/regulator combo ?
Ny battery weights 245 gram......
