Hey guys,
I will be there.
Robert I thought that the fish must have eaten you because it has been so long since I had seen a post from you.

They can kill me, but they can't eat me.
I've been flying some sundays but have been fishing pretty hard otherwise. This winter has been so mild its hard to figure out what to do on the weekends.
Really looking forward to the funfly though. It'll be my one year anniversary for heli's.
You going to help me with my first flip?

The weather forecast looks good. Temps in the mid to upper 70`s partly cloudy with only a chance of isolated showers and the WIND 7 - 10 all weekend.

the WIND 7 - 10 all weekend.
Thats pretty much normal up there on the prairie isnt it?
I'm hoping to get out of here early friday so I might get there before dark.
Anyone heard from Sam? He's pretty much fallen off the face of the planet since he got married.

I'll be arriving between 10 and 12 on Sat.
The wifey is coming with me, she heard something about a fish fry on Sat.
She also said "I am not sitting under an umbrella, go get one of those easy-up awnings". I love that woman!!
Looking forward to it!! Drive safe everyone.

go get one of those easy-up awnings
Just priced one at Wally World for around $80. Its the 10x10 blue with a carry bag.
And yes there will be a fish fry and last years was really good. The Wilsons really put alot of effort into it they even have appetizers!

Sounds like a good time to me!! I just wish I could be there but our funfly in Huntsville, AL is the following weekend and I can't make 2 weeks in a row.
Good luck and good weather for your event.

Had a BLAST at the funfly! Ate like a pig the whole time, I bet I gained 10 lbs.
Really enjoyed hanging with everyone and a GREAT BIG THANKS to the Kennett Magic flyers for sharing your field with us. Phillip and David, thanks for letting me share your pit area, I really consider Kennett my home field even if it is a 3hr drive. You guys get to have TOO much fun. Ought to be illegal, I'd bet in some states it is.... and I still want a turn on the Airwoof.
Big thanks to the Wilsons for the saturday fish fry, it was too good for the likes of us. Much thanks to Gary Steward for organizing and handling the sign in. Also a great call on Strawberries BBQ, I think that was a big hit with the St Louis crew too!
Also ALOT of thanks to the event sponsors, Wilson Hobbies, Jeff Green at Hirobo and the fuel companies. I really like the Hirobo tool bag, now all I need is the matching blade bag.
Scott Cathy from JR, its always a pleasure to watch you fly. That takeoff rainbow ALWAYS turns heads! Thanks for the help with the Hyper carb too.
And as always thanks to all that attended, my list of friends grows with every fun fly I get to go to. Hope to see alot of you again at the Little Rock fun-fly in a few weeks.
All in all another outstanding weekend, cant wait for next years!

I had a great time at this funfly. Very laid back, good attendance, but not so much you can't fly all you want. I got to fly enough to try a few things I haven't done with my nitro birds yet, like extended inverted hover and backward circuits. Also got to practice a lot of autos which just keep getting better and better. Thanks to everyone involved in putting it on.
