Hi.
My first thread here, been reading a lot, and impressed by this forum.

Im by no mean a good pilot, and ever so often crash my little belt-cp, i think iīv wasted 4 of them over the past months.

Im still not giving up, and my dream has been to photograph and film from the air.
Been doing it with Kites, and gliders, but now want to take it to the heli.
Iīv been doing some small try outs with my belt, but itīs not very stable, nor good in handling a 250g camera.

Im planing to get a Hurricane 550, and on the mount a Canon G9 or a HD video camera depending on purpuse.

But i really dont know what to get.

First, i have a 7ch transmitter, can i use this to trigger the camera?, for example the chanel i use for HH, i never turn this off, because if i do, it stops working completely, and the helicopter just starts to spin.
Or do i need a 9ch transmitter?

What setup of the 550 shoul i go for?, is a basic one enough, or should i get cnc, and carbon frame? (im not planing to do any 3D, maybe a roll, but thatīs it)
Changing from plastic to CNC on my belt-cp, in my view didnt make it more stable, just more expensive to crach?
But i think the Carbon frame would be easier to work with if i plan to make camera mounts and so on.

Do i need a gyro for the other servos as well?, or is this just money in the lake?

Im plaing to get the helicopter from flying-hobby.com, but they have so many diferent setups. And im sure there are many different flyers out there, that need different setups.

As you can se i want a very stable helicopter, nothing extreeme power, i much more prefare longer flying time and that is not that expensive so i dont dear to crach, but maybe around 2k$ for complete set including some spearparts and batteries.
Is this possible?, or should i go for some other sport? :-)

Thanx a lot, and thanx for a nice forum.

Regards Jago Svensson
