Hi all
can someone please point me to resources on how to modify a t-rex 600 to flybarless by using the stock parts ?
i've seen pictures of modified trex 600's with using the stock metal blade grips and the stock flybar mixing arms going down to the swashplate.
Is there anything wrong with that setup ? or why should i go the direct swash to bladegrip route? pro and cons ?
i don't prefer the mikado head because for me it seems to expensive.

That is nothing wrong with that, I fly that on 450, 500 and 600 T birds no problem

so what is the difference between this "design" and that of the Mikado head?
How about servo travel and stuff like that?
Sorry, i have no experience with flybarless setups and possibilities!

I have not try any others so I do not know, I would not suggest anyone try the others without testing the stock mod out, all the pilots in my field fly the stock mod with no issue, so I think it is the pilot himself to choose, better start with the mod, fly to see if you are happy with it. If you are happy, why bother spending extra dollar? Only my humble opinion

Using stock grips dont add any travel reduction, well some but the mikado aonce are longer so you can add more throw from the servos.. hence higher resultion..
also you need to move in the balls on the servohorn, that add some sloppyness also.. nut much theses days with greate servos but if they dont center god it could be a slight problem wandering the heli in plane hover
swash mix usually is 65% on a flybar heli, with direct link and stock grips you end up with only 40-50%..
it makes it abit jumpy, iwe run it for a while, no probelm but im going to rebuild my grips or buy mikado once..

Tungym, seems you are not using any flybarless system on the 600, am I correct?

I have mod a 700N by other way, keeping the flybar cage and thus I did not even need to adjust any links, I have photos in my site...
