Hello I happy new year guys.

This months brain teaser comes in the form of a flickering green LED........!

I have a 3+1 charger & when I charge the heli from the far left socket (#4 socket as numbered R to L) it...

A) Charges the packs a little more, ie unplug a pack from the #2 socket after the LED has extinguished & plug it into #4 it will apparenty take a further charge as the LED ramains lit for a few minuites before slowly extinguishing.

AND

B) Has recently started to flicker when the charging process is nearly completed, I mean, full bright to off in the space of .5 sec, continuously untill I remove it from the charger.

Other notes are the full charged pack voltage is 8.36v unloaded & 7.51v with a 1amp load. does this sound OK? or should I be posting the charger & the pack to PP.

The fully charged voltage sounds fine. 8.2 to 8.4 volts with no load is fully charged.
The 7.5 voltage with a 1 amp load also is reasonable for a fully charged pack.

The LED's normally get dimmer as the pack gets closer to fully charged. You might call the number listed in the instructions with the charger. Ask them about the flickering LED's.
But from the voltage your seeing on the packs. It would seem the charger is doing its job and charging the packs completely.

Mine flickers at the end of a charge too for about 5 minutes then it gradually stays off.

No Biggy,
