Well, this actually started in another thread, and I don't want to hijack it any further.

I give credit to Racingstripe for the ideas.
I just wanted to show off what I have been in the cold garage for two days doing.
The servo was mounted with some "servo tape" from an RC Car shop, and secured with a heavy duty zip tie. This method is used on the airplanes found here: http://www.kombat40.com/ They are pretty much indestructable, and in the three or four that I owned, the servo mounts never gave a bit of trouble.
the pivot is a cut down stock tail servo mount, that I drilled and tapped for the three milimeter bolt that holds te pivot crank. The bell crank it's self is off an old eagle 2 that I had
In order to get clearance from the servo behind it, I had to use one of the large wheels. I imagine this explains the noticable gain in tail authority from the old setup, as I was not able to fit that long of a horn on that. It was an aluminum and carbon fiber mount, which was really nice, but I have never liked having a servo mounted to the boom.
This also makes the machine balance perfectly, on an empty tank, which is better than before.
