where do I send it..
I tried to charge 2 lipos, both 3s 2200. Set it up as a 6s 2200.. I connected it using a serial cable with correct deans and smelled burning plastic from the bc6..... Immediately disconnected.
It worked ok for a few hours but now its not even powering up..
I like the charger and would like to get it working again..

Contact Evan Chapkis at RCAccesory. http://www.rcaccessory.com/ He is great to deal with. I just sent mine in this morning. I'm sure Evan will chime in shortly.

You should contact your dealer from whom you made the purchase from for getting the unit repaired.
You hooked up the batteries incorrectly (reverse polarity) which caused the issue. See this video to understand how to hook it up.

Thanks for the info, I watched the video prior to charging. I have also used the same serial cables to charge 2 3s lipos w my TP charger in the past without any problems.

Besides blowing the adapter, what goes in the charger? A couple diodes?
I'm sure quite a few people have done this :)

I think I shorted the charger by having the polarity backwards. The adapter board actually melted a pin and the charger smoked a bit. It still charges my 3s packs fine, so I must have damaged the 4 to 6 cell portion of the charger.
In your experience, what is normally damaged when this happens as it seems to be a common mistake.

Do damaged a pin on the balance port or the connection board?
It is important and the manual mentions that you could damage the charger with reverse polarity, but that can only happen IF you plug in the balance tap first, then have reverse polarity on the mains. While you can do it in any order, the charger is reverse polarity protected on the mains. Since you can only plug in the balance tap one way, it is suggested that the mains be connected first. If you do have reverse polarity on the mains, the charger will let you know.
In most cases, no damage happens to the charger, but you can damage it. What is damaged, I don't exactly know.

Good to know!
