Hi all, just got a BC6 and am having a problem. I have the BC6 with the balancing board (align/dualsky) plugged in to it. I plug one of my new Outrage 6S1P - 3000mah 25c batteries in and set the charge to lipo balance, 2.3a, 22.2v (6s). then when i keep the start button pressed it does its battery check and says "connection break"
I have checked all the connections, its a new BC6, new balancing board and new batterys. I also tried a 3S 11.1v battery on and get the same.
Any ideas ? :arggg:

Last edition of BC-6 has built in balancer. So, using an external balancer, in balancing mode, the charger "sees" nothing connected to the balance port and gives the "connection break" error message. If you want to use your external balancer, you should set the charger to charge mode, not balance mode. Also, you may set the charger to balance mode and plug the battery balance connector in the balance port of your charger built in balancer. In this way ,you don't need the external balancer.

Thanks, have tried it in fast charge, lipo charge and balance charge. Same problem.
The shop sold me this board so I could plug the outrage batteries in as the connector on the battery leads is differant to the one on the charger (labled "individual bal port)
Ok looking at it I need to cut the croc clips of the output cables and solder a deans on, then connect this and the balancing leads ?

Before cut anything lets take it from the beginning. There are two croc cables on your charger (red and black) for power input + and -. It needs 11-18 volts input voltage.
Now go to the output + - and plug in the banana cable (red to red and black to black). On the other side of that cable plug the cable with the crocs. Cut the crocs and solder a deans connector. Then use the balance adaptor to connect the balance leads.
Hop it helps.
I didn't see your post. Glad to see that you have solved your problem.
