Hey Fellas,
Just have a quick question for those of you that have the CHP Hurri frames. There's a spacer that fits on the shaft for the OWB that goes on the underneath side of the hub for the front main, at least that's what it shows in the manual. I've noticed that without this spacer, the shaft will slide down and the gear will chew into the frame. However, I'm having trouble getting both the spacer and the front main gear in. I think HeliDirect sent me an aftermarket hub and that could be my problem. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if I just need to go into aggressive negotiations to get it in there.
Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response. I was pretty busy last night.

IIRC I had either the bearing block upside down which caused there not to be enough room for the spacer. Flip the bearing block and you should have enough clearance.
Forgive me if I'm way off. Going from memory here.

EDIT: You'll notice the bearings are offset to the top/bottom off the plate. You need the bearing offset to the bottom providing clearance on top.

I do appreciate the help! At least you didn't rub it in by saying "the weather is just so beautiful here in Cali that I spend all the free time I have flying." It's been cold, wet, and windy in Kansas. Next thing ya know I'll have an English accent. lol
Anyway, I'll try flipping the bearing block. This is another thing that throws me, heli design engineers don't think as logical as I do, the bearing should face up as to not fall out of the block, but looking at my 450, that's not always the case.

Yeah, the weather is almost always perfect here. :YeaBaby:
Hard to remember but I'm pretty sure this is the wrong way for the block to be:

Yep, that's the wrong way. You're supposed to have it so the bearings can fall right out. I know, it'll probably never happen in a million years, but doesn't seem right. That was the ticket though, everything is perfect now.
Thanks again!
