I posted these over at RR and thought I would post these here since I updated them with hotspots. (makiedog got me on the kick). :)

These are great, almost looks like a tropical resort!

Boy, you were pretty darn high there. I am too chicken to go that high, may try it one day:) Are you using any stabilization at that altitude? Even though I have the AP2000i, it ends up unused most of the time, due to the close proximity of many objects in my panos. Might have to consider an getting a HC:)

Stop it, You both. You make me so yealous. It should be forbidden here to show us such a marvelous work while others are only dreaming of maybe once being able to do this too.

So until I can fly, have a decent mount for my 600 and get the grip on making good panorama's, please stop showing these.

Cheers,
Ruud

(please do not take offense, fun intented :D )

Ruud,

Hurry up and join the aerial pano club. I can't wait to see a panorama of the Peter and Paul Fortress from along the Neva river!

Phil,

You hit the nail on the head. I worked in the company who prepared the fountain in the neva river, just before the fortress and I still am really eager to get a pano of the view over the river while the fountain is running. (just have a look http://www.neva-fontan.ru/)

Going there at 05:00 in the morning, while the white nights are 'on' :) is giving such a beautiful pictures. Nothing will be able to meet up with that. But still somebody has to bring the chopper up and make the pictures. I have only a Askman mount for my 450 and I will not be doing it with that heli. My 600 is flying nicely (see attached picture) and is just waiting. But I am waiting for one of You to push the perfect pano-mount for sale :) , I'll bring it to Russia and then we can talk preparing that pano. Until then, aah . . . . I will be just yealous lurking around here.

Cheers,
Ruud

Oh yea, I used the HC Rigid on my spare Joker for those. The Joker with the HC Profi is down for routine maintenance (all bearings and new main drive belt).

I switched to the HC units from the Ap2000i because of that exact reason as you described. Plus, I spent more time auto-trimming it then flying. The HC really makes it "stupid easy". :)

I need to work on the flash versions next.

Also, that weekend (labor day) was the last nice weekend. I'm sitting "up here" right now (Sunday night) and the low for tonight is suppose to be 47f, and its very windy and rainy. It was in the 90's on Labor day with zero wind. Gotta love Michigan weather.......

Wow, nice work! I am in Southeast Michigan. It's probably pretty incredible up there right now!

Thanks.

I'll be heading up there this weekend in hopes of catching some fall colors.
