I've read the manual and the only thing I can find is to send a modelmemory to a computer instead of to another 12X, to backup your settings in other words.
It would have been nice if it also was possible to edit the settings on a computer and when finished just load it back to the 12X but if that's is really possible I don't know.

don't kow if the non US ones are different but ours come with software to do just that. you copy a model over to you your computer and then you can edit everything but the model number and the type of aircraft it is, other than that its all fair game.I actually used this method to transfer everything over from a dx7. I just went thru each screen on my 7 while editing the computer software andthen dumped it back to my radio. it worked great for me.

Well that sounds sweet, I really hope that future is also included in the EU-version. And I see no reason why it should'nt.
Our version is estimtated to come this month but that is nothing I would bet my house on, sure hope thou...
Happy landings...
