Is it possible to bind the same receiver twice to the same TX?
Basically this is what I want to do. I want to set up my Trex500 to accommodate a 6s and 5s lipo. So I want to creat a second model and name it 22.2 6s and have all the settings for running a 6s and have another model saved as 5s Trex. It seems like I cant get it done. Can anyone figure this out?

This was on one of the forums recently and here is what he did.
First bind the Rx to model slot 1..lets name it 5s
Next copy model 1 5s to memory slots 2 and 3.
Modify memory slot 2 for your 6s setup and rename, leave model 3 as a copy of model 1 5s
Here is how it would work.. Fly model 1 5s setup until you want to switch to the 6s
Copy model 2 6s to model 1 5s slot and fly as 6s setup.
When you want to switch back to the 5s setup copy model 3 5s back to model 1 5s.
I think that was how he was doing it.

LOL! Sounds easier to just buy another 6S battery.

And running your ESC at a reduced throttle setting to use 6S is NOT a great idea. The ESC runs hotter at a lower throttle setting.
But if you really want to do this, don't worry about what you call Memory 1, as it will get renamed every time you copy into it.
And no, it doesn't matter which memories you use. You can fly on 15, and store the profiles in 3 and 18. You just have to keep them straight.

By way of explanation, model match prevents you from binding the same reciever to more than one memory location. The model memory number is included with the GUID in the binding process and as far as the reciever is concerned, a different model memory is no different than another transmitter.
