Triton! About $120
Budget tight? Hobbico Quick Field Charger MKII $50 or so..
I have both, and I hate charging LIPO's on the MKII, all you have to do is misset or bump the amperage knob to waste a pack.. ask me how I know this..

how long does it take to charge a lipo

At the generally accepted charge rate of c/10, a 1800mAh to 2100 mAh pack should take on average of 1 hour.
You can take longer to charge, and save wear on the packs. Hard fast charging reduces the lifespan dramatically..

I have the Triton also and love it. I would like to have the ICE though for the bigger screen. :D

I'd suggest the "Swallow" or the "Swallow Advance" (the swallow is also known as the "Pro Peak Prodigy" or the "X-Peak 3").

-It's cheap.
-It's simple.
-It works.

I have a Orbit pocketlader and it works great and is in the same price range as most.

I wish they would develop a charger that stores the data for the charge so it can be downloaded later into a computer for record keeping. they offer battery testers that do this but no chargers that I am aware of.

tnreefguy,

Try looking into the Schulze line of chargers.
Even the entry-level 330D exists in a version with a PC interface (330D+RS).

I think the ORBIT Microladers do too.

What I don't know is if the charger will memorize the data, for dumping at a later stage on the PC.

Hope this helps.

the Schulze 330 and 636 can be purchased w/ PC interface (factory installed).

Ditto the Orbits (dunno about the Pocketlader). check orbitronic.de

also check the CBA2 from westmountainradio.com for a discharger only type device but
higher discharge rate.
