Hi,
does anyone know if it's possible to transfer the models from a DX7 to a XP9303 automatically?
If so, when you do this... do you have to rebind?
Thanks

I doubt it but yes you would have to rebind if you managed to figure out a way.

Nope, cannot be done. Values will not be the same either.

Get your graph paper out. Moving from 5pt to 7pt curves took me a little bit of tuning.

Also the subtrim steps are different.
Skiddz did the conversion and he found most stuff carried over, but the subtrim numbers were about doubled, IIRC.
But ALWAYS double check the setup after transferring and before flying.

It doesn't take but a few minutes to set up a model. Just do it from scratch.

Yep. I first copied over all the info (I set the "in between" settings in the curves to "INH" to kinda fake 5 point curves) and did the bind process. Subtrim resolution between the DX7 and the X9303 is quite different. The X9303 has twice the subtrim steps.
Direct copy *ALMOST* works. Honestly, it's easier and faster to just set up from scratch. One caveat tho. The X9303 *CANNOT* use the gear channel for gain using the GYRO SENS menu. There's no way to map that channel to gyro operation. What that means is that, if you're running a 6ch Rx, you MUST use gear channel endpoints for gain.

Guess that was a marketing ploy to sell 7+ Ch Receivers...

Actually I think the X9303 inherited that from the XP9303 (72Mhz). Where PCM Rxes were 7 channel or greater.
