Just a little note to get you all thinking about the Spring Tweak N' Tune!!

The dates this year will be May 19th - 21st!!

These have turned into a GREAT relaxed way to start the flying season here in the MidWest!! So if you miss this one you are gonna regret it!!

The new field is located on some of my land just to the west of Springfield... It is at exit 70 of of I-44 then just a couple miles south... Going to be busting behind to get it fixed for this first one... but it WILL be a nice place for Helicopters and large gas planes to fly!!! I will post an actual map and such here in the near future....

VERY easy to find... plenty of room for Motor Home parking but I have no elec or water over thee yet.... so going to have to be self contained...

Do you have a flyer for the Spring event? I don’t remember which hotel we stayed at last year and if I remember correctly your flyer had that info on it. I have to stay in a hotel last year because Helikid did not leave any room in the RV after all his helis are crammed in. :)

this years tweak n' tune is being held in Boliver, MO , due to unforeseen change in plans, Camping will be availible, will also get hotel info to come!
Run way is 4/10 mile long and 1/4 mile wide.

Hey everyone. We will be having our annual spring "Tweak-N-Tune" Fun-Fly again this year May 19, 20, and 21st. We have a great new location for this event in Bolivar, MO (about 20min north of Springfield, MO on HWY 13). The new field is Huge!!! We have 2800' of useable runway,and no obstructions in the fly over area for a 1/4 mile! If need be we could have a flight line as long as IRCHA! Plan on this event, we have many big names coming to the event for your viewing pleasure.... Alan Szabo, HC, and many others! Camping is allowed on site w/out hook ups, and yes there will be night flying as well. We can fly till the sun comes up if you like. Hope to see yall there! I will be posting directions to the field, and Hotel info as well.

The above listed hotels are less than 5-min from the field. There are other hotels on the North part of Springfield that are 20-30min away from the field as well. Also there is a Comfort INN in Buffalo, MO which is about 20min east of Bolivar on HWY 32.

Just got conformation today from the V-Blade crew that Henry "H to the C" Caldwell, and Clint "Clintstone" Akins will be bringing some of the southern smackdown our way! Alan Szabo might be coming as well

For those of you that are coming in on Friday May 19, there is some close by evening entertainment at the Bolivar Speedway Dirt Track (1/2mi. from the field).

Late Model, Modified, Super Stock, Factory Stock, Bomber, Rookie, Pro 4, Legends

General Admission Ticket Prices: Adults (18 & older) $10.00, Teens (13-17) $5.00, Children (12 & under) are free. Ticket prices may be higher for special events.

7pm: There will be a Saturday night dinner at the field. (Bring your own beverage of choice)

We will be playing music on a killer sound system, night flying, and having a great time!
