Tim said he is suppose to recieve the new Stratus tanks back from the manufactuer in a few days. This will be the first ones they moulded. So Tim will have to spec them and see if they are correct. Then if they are OK, the manufactuer can have production tanks made in a few days. Should not be too long now.

It is going to hold 19 ozs of fuel and fit the model better .
The one in the picture was craved from foam and painted to just get an idea how it will fit in the heli. That was back in October 05. Then that had to be sent to the manufactuer to make a mold for the injection moulding. The whole process takes about 6 months.

The tank will not be any heavier really. But you will be able to carry about 4-5 ozs more fuel.

The MA guys at BHM said they would start shipping in a couple weeks.
