Well chris come up with this gear to see if it can harness the power of the Neu on 12s i personally think 10s is GREAT but there could be one advantage to 12s and that si 12s2p 24cells vs 40 cells makes for cheaper packs check it out

looks like we all can make this at home by bolting 2 stock gears together after removing unneeded material from the center... Am I right ??

How many tooth are You running ??

Sounds good - but you know da´lads are hungry for a 4kw capable transmission - so this could be a good fast solution untill the beefy version is available from MA

Dont think me think Chris @ MA iam running the 32-3 on 12s right now wiht the belt drive and so far so good i have about 10 flights totall on the machine wiht 9 of them being on 10s and 1 on 12s hopijng to get out and do some flying today
And belt is looking good no were yet

Killer bob i could care less about 4000 watts i mean if you want to drag race great . But iam looking for that blade loading consistant 3d power

Hi SMITHB!

I could just read your post....then thank you for publishing this idea, and thank´s to ChrisS for the Idea :-).

I care about high peak power, as this give you the opportunity to keep a more stable rotor rpm during 3D maneuvres. Guess it is hard to beat a powertrain with high voltage, high motor rpm and high gear ratio both regarding efficiency and peak power.
