Hi to everybody
I'm flying a Stratus (8.18)
and I noticed that in mine and all my fieldfriends Stratus,
the center of gravity is very taily (sorry for the language, but I mean that the tail goes quickly down)
How can we balance this CG in that models?
Please all your suggestions will be very appreciated
Thank you very much
Regards
G

Before adding weight, try removing the horizontal fin and relocate radio components to the battery tray.

Hi Lamebird
thank you for your answer
but I already removed the orizzontal fin
I'll try to relocate radio components
but I wonder if is it normal that location?

I don't know about Normal, but I had to relocate the reciever and governor control to the battery tray to get mine to balance.
I also had to remove the boom support bridge, that moved the CG forward considerably.

The part that connects the two boom supports together;

If you have this, it's worth a few ounces of nose weight.
Remove the 3mm screws at the horizontal support, and replace with 4mm screws..

Very good idea ...
I'll remove it
what did you locate on the battery?
Thank you very much

I thought I heard that there was a "longer" battery tray out. Is that true ?
