Well I thought about taking the easy way out and installing the threaded ball 19.5mm fom center because the futaba wheels are marked at 19.5mm. But I modified a servo wheel jig for 20mm and made my own holes. Took some time but all the wheels will be identical now. The manual reads "approximatley 20mm from center" From the pics in the status manual it looks like they used the premarked 19 .5mm holes, hard to tell. Think half a millimeter would make a much difference? What did YOU do?

IMHO, .5mm won't make the slightest difference.

I agree with Al. 19.5mm is approximately 20mm.

Just an FYI...
Futaba makes drill guides for their servo wheels.
There work well and are worth the price if you have helis with odd ball hole spacing.

(This one goes to 15mm, but I thought they had one that went to 20mm)

Why modify the servo wheel jig? Wouldn't the wheels all been identical at 19.5 mm also?
Did you measure the distance of the pivot points on the bellcranks?

I thought i set up my CCPM as well as i could, and still found that i needed mixes to keep the swash plate level when climbing out.
I guess ultimately you rely on each of your $120 servos working at exactly the same time and moving exacly the same distance each time.
The bell cranks are 28.5mm so the orthogonal setup is impossible anyway!

If it was easy the wife would be doing it! :D
