Radix Blade Review
By: Michael Fortin

I know a few of you have had the opportunity to to try the Radix blades on your machines so you already know what I am about to say......WOW!

For those of you who have yet to fly the Radix I think you will be very impressed with their performance. First and foremost the blades are priced very well around the $100 dollar mark ($99.99 @ www.eastcoastextremehelis.com) this is a highly competitive price for this size of blade and a steal for the performance that you get out of them!

Most importantly, the response that you get from the Radix is nothing short of fantastic. The cyclic is very crisp without being twitchy, you also will not hear that blade flutter that you are accustomed to with most other blades. The blades are very efficient and allow your motor to continue to spin the blades even under extreme loads without having to worry about the dreaded bogging.

The Radix also allow you to auto all day, they just keep spinning and in the event that you lose head speed in an auto they have no problem picking up speed very quickly.

The Radix are a great compliment to the Raptor helis, so if you haven't had the chance to try them out...don't wait any longer!

i agree the radix are great!!! mind if i post a video of my flying them on a predator max 90? i use the 175g blades, the end strip is white, all the rest are silver instead of white.

I agree also.. Radix blades have been good on many of my helis BUT.... On my Trex600 I have to say the new Align 600 blades are turning out to be better... Probably the higher head speeds we run (2200 to 2300)...
I have been switching back and forth with my Radix and these and I am liking the Align blades now.... Maybe Curtis needs a blade for E-heli's with higher head speeds? Just a thought?

My 710's on my Vibe ROCK!

I sold my Evo 50 but the Radix blades were the best blades I had tried before I had sold it.

ALSO I would like to add the Radix tail blades are absolutely the best I have tried thus far!

Show them off, show them!! Not only are they great blades, I think they are the hottest looking blades around!

Only downside is they are pretty hard to get in the Old World. I found one Belgian supplier that has them.

I guess i'm the only one who doesn't like them. I've had 690mm radix blades on my avant fx w/ the programmable head and they flew good. BUT even w/ the "active" setting on the avant head the heli had a slower cyclic and pitch "pop" than the sloppy hirobo head and 690mm V-blades that were on it previously. So i bought a set of 690mm TST V-blades and put on the heli. The thing is TONS better w/ the v-blades than the radix blades.

Most people stock them in the UK, I order most of my stuff from Fast Lad, awesome service and very fast delivery. Shipping from UK to you should be only a couple of days

I liked my Radix on the 450 but somehow i ended up switching back to the new Align cf blades. By looking at the two sets the design seems very similar but i think the Align ones got that little bit better snap in the air.
