I know... I saw you fly it!!!! That's why I am asking. Can't you just buy all the parts you need (in a kit) without having parts left over :?:

Currently the Avant is just an upgrade, but the rumor is it will be available as a kit eventually. Not sure when that might be. As for buying just the needed parts, the cost is higher than buying the kit. Plus when you are finished you can sell off whatever you don't need. I just kept my extras because I also have an EVO, so they were spares for me. If you decide to try one you will be thrilled with it. It is a first class machine!

I haven't ever seen them offered at the standard heli shops online. Kind of curious, where can the upgrade kits be bought and about what do they run?

I put 3 tanks through my Avant today....first 2 tanks were really rich and didnt impress much...3rd tank though I turned the high speed needle in 4 clicks and that brought it to life.....the Avant is definately a keeper...I didnt beat on it but I did do a few manuvers, that was enough to tell me THE AVANT IS GOING TO ROCK!!!!!....makes me wanna do some marathon flying and get that motor broke in nice.

how about parts availability, i hope there aren't any issues there.
I had a chance to join Rodney and crew on the weekend and decided to bring the camera along to catch some of the action. All I can say is "wow!" I've never before seen such a small group of heli pilots with that much combined talent.
Below are the pics that relate to this thread.
