I just received my DX6i Transmitter and attempted to set up one of my HDX500s with this TX. I am unable to get the throttle down low enough to allow my ESC to arm. As soon as I turn the unit on the ESC goes into alarm as if there is some throttle input, even thought I have the left joystick all the way down. I have the throttle settings as follows:

Travel Adjust = up - 100% dn - 0%
Throttle Trim = 0%
Throttle Sub-Trim = 0%
Throttle Curve Norm = 0% , 25%, 50%, 75% 100%
Throttle Curve Stunt = 60%, 80%, 100%, 80%, 60%
Throttle Hold = neg 10%

The throttle monitor display shows the throttle under:
NORM: moving from half way to full (mid to full right)
STUNT: moving from half way to full right then back to half way (mid -full right-mid)
HOLD: no movement (stays at mid travel)
The throttle monitor never goes to the left of center, even with the subtrim adjusted to -100%.

If I can't get the throttle to go fully off, I am unable to program my ESC. I initially had the same problem with my DX6 radio but I'm able to set the throttle low position travel adjust to a negative percentage which allows me to set up the ESC.
I have 5 different helis running off my DX6, but I cannot get this DX6i working on any of them. According to the throttle monitor the throttle shows about 50% throttle with the left joystick all the way down.

Confused ? Frustrated !!!!

DO you need to first program your ESC by starting with high stick, then going low to have ot learn the end points?

If not, try lowering the low throttle end point. Can you lower it below 0?

your travel adjust should be 100% up and down for the throttle...

The answer to the first question is yes, throttle needs to start up fully to enter program mode on the esc. Thank you Dwntyme, found out by accident how to cure the problem. I started fresh with a new model set up and the default radio settings whereby the throttle travel adjust was 100% up and 100% down. I was use to the other radios where throttle adjust started at 0% and went to 100%. Thanks, I appreciate it.......
