Other than Helidirect, are there any other online sites (not those in the UK) that sell replacement/upgrade parts for the E-Smart - or even sell the helicopter itself. The Esky web site has links to several sites that they say stocks the E-Smart, but they don't. Other sites like rc711 haven't had them in stock all summer, and no longer carry replacement parts for the E-Smart.

I was thinking about getting the E-Smart, but I don't see alot of parts support online - in fact it look to be getting worse, which is why I haven't ordered one. If one place is sold out of something I would like to have several alternate sites to choose from. If Helidirect stops carrying the E-Smart parts, what then? Why are some stores no longer carrying parts for the E-Smart? Is E-Sky going to discontinue the E-Smart line?

Align T-Rex stuff is everywhere by comparison.

I just saw the other post about spare parts in the U.S. for the E-Smart. http://http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=93745

I feel a little better about getting the E-Smart. Too bad none of the Align stuff will fit like it does with the Belt CP.

Any other places (web links) for parts. Sites in the UK are too expensive. A google search turns up a few sites in China, but the sites don't translate well or look suspicious - no contact info etc..

Any specific web sites in China you guys use and trust for spare parts? More links please.....

The tail does have a LOT of slop in it, I put Align 600's tail hub and grips on it nice and solid now......

another place I found that sells the ES600

they don't stock parts but I'm sure he'd get some if asked, he's out in Washington, and posts regularly on rcgoups, never ordered from him yet but I'm thinking of buying a Hurricane 550 from him, good price and it swings the same size blades as the ES600

Guys, the E-smart is still a viable heli and I plan to keep it until it dies. The Gaui hurricane is a good heli but has problems with the plastic frame flexing. Also replacement parts are a bit expensive. The only other heli I intend to keep in this size range is the outrage 550. Yes it's a bit expensive(430-460) but, there are no upgrade parts needed for improving performance on the airframe, out of the box. All stress bearing parts are CNC aluminum and ball bearing supported. I have seen pros crash this thing and it breaks parts less than a trex 600. This is a well thought out design and the rotor head can be configured for a beginner up to insane 3D flying. Believe me, this thing has the fastest response and the best agility of all the heli's I have tested. I only have my rotor head setting for intermediate and this thing acts like a 250 size heli in a 550 size body. Just pure insane. But then again I still fly the e-smart more....relaxing. The outrage gives tons of adrenaline rush.
