He is out of town right now and I am not sure he has internet access.
He was running:
Mega 16/15/4 - He would not recomend
HS 56s
401
TP 2000 Prolite 4s
Park 6v BEC
CC 25.
Ok what did I miss.
As far as motors go I think he is looking @ an outrunner and a Medusa 2800 (he uses 4s).

Thanks Steve. Has Charley let you fly it?

Yes, but I have bad luck with OPC (other people's choppers) so i did not push it past a few loops and rolls. It flies nice....Just a little hard to get used to it being almost silent.

You know the usual Dog ate my home work, the job, honey do list, for some reason the couch was holding me down in front of the TV I tried to get away. I fought until I was worn out and tired and then had to go rest  :D

That darn couch is evil like that. How about you move that couch next to your workbench and start getting those belt drives done.

In all honesty, I don't think Charley would even know he had a couch if Vic didn't tell him.
For him to dedicate more time he would have to give something else up.....We I am thinkning the only thing left is sleep. Charley buy some nodose and see how that works out. :?:

PLEASE make it soon.

Maybe it's me but I struggle with my G4 being very sensitive to the gear mesh. I'm running 5S with a Neu 1107 so it's got plenty of 'go' and the wobbly Align gears are really hit and miss... they need to mesh well or this thing strips one or two teeth (and the rot sets in as it starts to eat teeth either side), or you push for good mesh on the 'loose' part of the pinion and it's too tight elsewhere. I've thought about trying some of the CNC main gears but kinda pricey when you crash as much as I do

If the gearing works out then this would be a fantastic upgrade.

I am currently using the uH cnc main gear because I was getting sick of the egg shaped Align main gear. It is a big improvement and I have had no problems with the main gear ever since. It is a little louder than the Align gear but well worth the upgrade till Charley releases the belt drive.

Any new updates on the upgrade release date? Will you offer the kit only as an upgrade to existing g4 frame owners or will you be selling it as a complete frame? Thanks
