I tried to hold the flycam on my mouth while taking video.. Everything was going fine but a small gust of wind picked up the mCX and put it up about 20 feet and cashed sideways on the roof..

It took a quick trip to the roof to find out that no damage was done but it was on its side, so I could not just fly it back..

Moral of the story.. this one is VERY sensitive to wind and wind gusts. best stay indoor and away from AC vents..

What, you can't chew video and fly a heli at the same time? LOL

Man that has to be a talent that would require years of practice and a special aiming site to keep the heli in view LOL!!!! I would try to see if I could fly my mcx outside but here on the beautiful west coast of Iowa where the beaches are mud it is always blowing wind and am lucky to get a week each year of still or just random puffs of wind!

+1 on that. On my first flight I was tooling around the living room having a good time when the AC turned on. I was flying right under an AC vent and the mcx acted like it was in a wind tunnel. VERY sensitive to air currents!

I also noticed it's sensitive to it's own turbulence at times. I tried cruising down the hallway and it was fine as long as I stayed pretty well in the middle. A bit too far in either direction and it would get pulled to the wall like a magnet. Spot landings are a bit tricky, hovering slowly over the target is pretty tough. Slide in and set it down works great though. I did also manage to fly it through the legs of a TV tray, that was pretty cool :)

Looks a bit out of place in that garage.

I have seen vipers parked outside trailers...to each his own.

FYI, It's a Carport, Not a Garage.

In S. Fla. I have trouble flying my CX2 outside, much less a mCX.

My LHS hasn't got them yet, but I sure would like to get myself one soon. (can't wait):)

I'm sure the A/C is a problem, you would almost have to hold your breath when you fly past yourself so it won't get thrown around. (part of the fun!):YeaBaby:
