I run 1850 with the C-Spec and 8.18 gearing as of now. I wont run any higher until my SZ-H gets here and gets put in. Then I might run 1880 or 1900.

Head speed is determined by a few different items. Blade length, blade weight, gear ratio, nitro precentage, and the biggest one is Personal Preference. I have seen 3D type flying done with a headspeed of 1500 rpm, I have also seen it done with a head speed of 2000 rpm plus. You just have to experiment and find the head speed that best suits your heli setup and your style of flying.

What I mean is what RPM is best suited for the OS C-spec with cline and BB.

prob around 1700 to 1900.. any higher you start to break conrods if it over revs too much..
i run around abouts 1860 on my stratus and on my extreme i run 1900 with 690 v's.

Fredrik,
The OS Cspec seems to be in the power band about 14,700 to 15,100 rpms.
So with 8.18 ratio to get that rpm on the engine, you can turn the rotor head 1800 to 1850.
Turning the rotor rpm at 1950 plus with 8.18 is going to put the motor turning over 16,000 rpm.
