Can anyone tell me if this blade grip can be used with the newer c-clip feathering shaft and bigger thrust bearings?

Nevermind, I have dissasembled it now and see that it does not need it. Can anyone tell me the shimming options? It had a .012 and a .008 on each side. I want it a little firmer so I was going to add another .008. I cant seem to find my manual that has this head in it

This is from my EB manual.I have three on mine now converted back to standard Intepid.

The manual you have is for the one piece blade grips. The shim stack is different with the 2 piece blade grip. If I put in the part #1147 1mm thick shim, then the damping is so tight you can't even move it. I am just going to add .008 to each side and go with that.
