I have a GV1 on both my 600 and 700. What don't you know how to do? How many channel receiver are you using? Do you want to be able to turn off the GV1 from the radio?
On Bob's set up video's for the T-Rex 600 nitro (I think) he does a setup video for the GV1 on a DX7 which is similar to the 9303. He uses a 7 channel receiver which has a slightly different setup than I would use for a 9 channel but if you set it up just like he does it will work fine.

thanks for your reply gregkreps. i have a member at my club with a spectrum and a gv1. i tried to copy everything like his but there are a couple more things in 9303 that specktrum dont have. in 9303 under governor tab, there are percentages that im really confused about. right now i have all the percentages at 100% and governor seems to work fine on and shows the st1, st2 and st3 on the screen when i move the flightmode switch.the screen also shows the governor to br off in normal mode and on in st1 and st2. but in the air, it does not seem to conttrol the throttle in st1 and st2. please let me know if you know a solotion

There are a couple of ways you can tell if the GV1 is is controlling the throttle. The best way is to use a tac and see how fast the rotors are spinning. If GV1 is working tac will read the same as your GV1 screen. If you don't have a tac, set throttle curve on your radio to....say for example 25% flat curve in idle one and in normal mode go from 0 at the bottom then 25% at mid stick and the rest of the way across. On your GV1 screen set RPM for 1800 in idle one. Start the heli in normal move the collective to 50% stick. In normal mode the rotors should be spinning but not very fast, now switch to idle 1. If the engine does not speed up considerably, the GV1 is not controlling the throttle. Then if you have idle 2 set to 2000 (on the GV1), flip into idle 2 and you should hear it speed up again. Remember not to fly this way because you need a good throttle curve set if the GV1 fails.
This sounds a little complicated but when you actually do it, it will take less than 10 minutes.
Second. Remember you will still get pretty substantial engine RPM changes when flying even if the GV1 is working. The technology on this governor is pretty old and it does not react as quickly as some of the newer governors on the market. If you do a hard climb and then move the stick lower to stop climbing it will take a second for the GV1 to catch up and the engine will rev a bit especially if you have a very slow servo on throttle.
Let me know what happens.

hey guys. thanks for your help. i finally figured out how to set up a gv1 governor on xp9303 on my raptor titan 50.
on the radio go to system menu and then DEVICE SEL. click GEAR and select GEAR SW . straight under it, select GOV (in front of OUT:). this will put a governor menu in the 'functions list'. go there and select GOVERNOR. put +100 for normal, 0% for ST-1, and -100% for ST-2.
on the governor, plug AUX(rpm) in your recievers GEAR (aux5). this is recomended by your 9303 manual. now manually put your prefered rpm for rS1, rS2 and rS3 in the governor. turn every thing off and back on and it should work fine. let me know if you have any questions.

i use gear for on and off for GV-1 (i just use it as ACT (NOT GOV) in 9303 start-up menu). and then use aux 3 to set for flight mode switch (in 9303 menu). and then change the rpm in GV-1 menu to Normal (999) Idle-up 1 (1900) Idle-up 2 (2100). for throttle curve Normal im using 0 40 80 flat. Idle-up 0 to 100 linear.
hope this helps?
