Stratus questions

quick question, does the stratus kits contain the new flybar carrier, open tailbox, and HD clutch, if not how much are these items?

The full kit has all those items.
You also get aluminum bellmixers, modified paddles and tempest canopy.
At least mine did.

sweet, I plan on getting one. Does the regular stratus kit have the fury extreme head?

Standard Stratus head is based on the extreme head, but includes metal bell mixers and the ultimate 3D flybar carrier setup. There is a separate part number for a Stratus kit with a Tempest 3D head, which also includes the new flybar carrier.

Also, I read something about collets not fitting on the os motor or such, what is the deal with that? I plan on running a szh in it unless I cant get mine fixed, or otherwise will go with a ys

If you wanna run the szh, there isn't a kit option for it yet. Order part #126-32, which is the engine mount plate (the std OS plate won't work). Call the shop and ask about the collet. They've got something specific for the szh.

What batteries are you guys using? Will the heli balance with a 2 cell lithium pack or does it need a 4 cell pack?

With a Sanyo 2400 nicad, the balance is perfect so I guess you need to move some stuff to the battery bridge, if using 2 lithium cells.

I know on mine I'm running a 4000 duralite with the heavy duty 5.3 reg and it's all mounted on the battery plate. The balance with a half tanks of fuel is dead on. 2 cell poly's are going to be different though.
