I am in Hong Kong on business and whilst at a hobby shop looking for a Spektrum DX7 came across the latest JR radio a DSX 7. Does anyone have any information on this radio and the differences to the Spektrum DX7 as now will have to make a decision between the two.
The shop also had a JR DSX 9 but not able to tell me much about the differences between the radios.

JR OE for Spectrum. It seems same performance. The major is servo btw two models, the servo n JR package is for gas heli and SPECTRUM's servo is for elec heli (9g).

I think you can switch the DSX7 between modes, unlike the DX7. Apart from that, it looks like the same radio with a different case and newer firmware. Personally I like the look of the DX7 better.
The DSX9 is more or less the non-US version of the X9303. One of the differences is that it has a digital throttle trim, as it can also switch between modes.

How can it switch between modes? Isn't mode switching also a mechanical thing (the sticks behave differently)?
What is digital throttle trim?
Are the receivers the same?

just recive my JR-DSX7.
you can swich by softwear from MODE1 to MODE2 but still no MODE3 or MODE4.
Its pitty!!!
Mode 3 i fly, so again i was soldering some wires.....
But!!!!
Sooooooooo stu.., they remove the timer function of it!!!!

also the all new RD 721 seems to have no fast r
eboot function!!
Futaba seems like do a much beter job in this case, JR-Spectrum need do hire some
Sofwear programmers here who juse some more braincells then just 0.001 %...
I can thell you Spectrum could sale much much more of this DX7 if they would reprogramm those Transmitters with a new softwear!!!
A new version of a existing Transmitter should have more options and function,not less

For helicopter..DSX 7 have n3 mix for airplane 5 mix..i'm also want to know..is it possible DSX 7 can run by simulator...i'd try before..but the channel mapping seem does'nt working..
