what servos is everyone using in their stratus? I was thinking the futaba 9255s or one of the new hitec 69xx series with karbonite gears, any ideas?

Most everybody is running good ole 9252s. From what ive read the 9255 are a tad slower but have more torque but they said they couldnt notice the slower speed because they had more torque. They center better from what I hear also. Give em a try.

I think I am going to go with the 9451s after looking them over.

Unless your going to run regulated 6 volts to the servos.
I would choose the 9255's over the 9451s.

On 5.1 or 5.3 volts the 9451's are going to have approx the same trans. time and torque as the 9252's on the same voltage.

I believe the pilots that are using the 9451's are running the servos on regulated 6 volts and have a step down for the tail servo to operate on 5.1 or 5.3 volts.

Thanks David, that was my plan to run 6v and a stepdown for the tail. Plus the 9451s are like $25 cheaper each than the 9255s.
