Does the stratus canopy need to be cut for the hatori sb-17? If so can you post a pic? Ricko is painting my stratus canopy shortly, and would like to see a pic if its needed to be cut.

You can turn the header 180 and get just a little more space for an offset with no performance issues. I did this on my extreme and did not have to trim the canopy at all.

If it is an SB17 FH the muffler will only mount horizonital. I believe you have to trim the canopy on the left side for any muffler to fit on the Stratus. Since the engine is facing forward and the exhaust port is nearly under the canopy.

Also unless the canopy's are coming pre-cut on the bottom now. The bottom of the canopy towards the frames will have to be cut out also.

David is right, all of the Hatori pipes I have even turning the header for the little extra, you still have to trim the canopy. I'm not sure about the MP2. The bottom of the canopy still has to be trimmed to clear the "A" frame.

Here is a couple of pics of one of mine.
The template got me in the ball park but definitely needs to be updated as you can see from the
pics and the template in the manual.

I did have to cut quite a bit for the pipe to fit.
I would like to see miniature make a Stratus body, or maybe there is one in the making?
