Salina,Kansas Area Flying Eagles Fall Heli Fun Fly

Even though it says it is only a one day event. Bruce Don and or myself Toby will open the feild for thoughs of you who would like to make a weekend of it Friday threw sunday.You do need a AMA membership to fly. prizes only for registered pilots. I will also stay late if anyone would like to do any night flying. lots of open flying space also 2 to 3 spots for hovering only. Bring your books on your equpment if you need some help. I will keep you all posted on prises and if some of the reps will be attending. Camping on site no hook ups.

looks like TEAM JR, V Blades,and Magnum fuel rep. Scott Glasgow will be attending if everything goes ok. also Ron Lund from Ricks already donated a gift certificate for $50 for anthing they sell on there online store. even though we will be there all 3 days if you want to come early and stay till sunday. Every thing will be handed out on saturday. that way we know everyone is present.

Well it looks like ZOOM HELI may attend with there moble heli shop if all goes well.And ZOOM HELI is donating a $25 gift certificate to all regesterd pilots.And also some t shirts. Also QUIK UK has said that they would be glad to help support our fun fly in salina. HELIWORLD is also going to sponser the event. I will let you know as soon as I do on what they will be sending. and again THANKS QUIK UK , HELIWORLD, and ZOOM for your support to make what will be a great fun fly.

We had a great turn out for our first year 30 registered pilots. I would like to thank you all that pitched in to help the guys whom needed it. I think everyone learned allot at our fun fly (I hope). I help set up 4 helis from scratch for some of the new guys. and reworked 6 other that needed help on there setup while running the event. i had allot of fun. thank you, for those of you that attended. we are going to make this a annual event. next year September 23,24,and 25 i will post again later in the year.:D
