Hello all, I have defected from another forum. Used to be known as blade bender but after careful thought i have changed names( Basically my wife told me that it was not the best of names for maybe obvious reasons) :?

Still have two wren predators which are super fantastic

Ian,
Awww c'mon mate! Let's go do it now :D All I gotta' say is building a scale bird in the winter is great! Trying to get test flights out sucks. When your fingers start sticking to the transmitter sticks, I guess that's some kind of sign :arggg:

Doc, if you hover nose in with the wind to your back your fingers don`t get so cold so quick :)

Hey Mate,

Yes indeed, I must get talking to Sara & the gang so we can work out a good time for you guys to come over and have maximum flying sessions together.
It's been in the pipeline for age's and the new year is here now so we'll soon have to start making plans.

I feel your pain, prising your frozen fingers of the Tx's in cold weather. Over here at the moment we've not had a lot of good, reasonably warm days and it gets pretty difficult to feel where your sticks are with numb fingers.
Thats another plus with a turbine heli, hover if closeby & it keeps you warm. You go home smelling like you've been working a 12 hour shift at Gatwick airport but atleast your warm and cleanly shaven if it gets to close

Andy/Ian,
Dudes, we gotta' keep that a secret!!! One of the biggest perks of flying tubine heli's. Ian, I am indeed getting excited about the possibility of coming over and getting to fly with some really good friends. Like the one gent says....I don't fly all that good, but I am fun to watch

Interesting you ask Coolice...

We are in the market to adopt one "Big Kid" who comes with at least two (2) Turbine helis. on a trial basis.

Will,
I LOVE IT!!! Way to go, shipmate. Sherry says I can't adopt anyone that comes "with heli's!" I ran right upstairs, after reading Ian's reply and asked...honest, I did. She said, if Ian leaves his heli's at home and I am willing to share mine, we will adopt him....maybe....you know how Mom's use that word to keep your ego semi-inflated so they can watch it go boom when they say no....LMAO

Barry,
Man! I am excited....and, you lost your bet....I did ask Wolfmom and she said YES, however she wants to hire a young man to tend the swimming pool. DOHHHH! We don't have a pool!!! Guess that means I am back to square 1.
