Is it just me or has all the fun gone out of the turbine forums? I have watched a few guys come in wanting to go jet powered and asking for advice, and i have watched them sit back as people bicker and fight over this that and the other. They must think we are all a bunch of w****rs!!

Naw... just big egos... and a lot of spin. Not a big deal though, I think most people can take it for what it is worth. Since you guys have been here, a lot of good information has been exchanged. I think the discussion between Chopper Jockey and WREN has been good and productive so everybody knows where they stand.
I personally have been having a lot of fun at the events and online with the turbine guys I know nad fly with around here in the US.
You guys can make this into whatever you want. It can be fun and informative, or you can let the egos and attitudes regress the discussion into obscurity. It is up to you. You have a place where you can freely discuss whatever you want, and it is up to you to make it or break it for yourselves. Take a look at the other manucafturer and technology forums here and see what I mean. Lots of good info and helpful people who check the attitude at the login prompt for the most part. For example the 3D guys who hang here. Whether it is your style of flying or not, we have some of the TOP 3D pilots in the world here, and they manage to keep it positive and helpful and check their attitudes at the door. Look how much their professional persona in the forums has helped to grow the 3D segment of the hobby. You guys can do this to if that is what you really want! If you fail here an everybody throws in teh towell, you miss out on a good market and YOU fail and everybody looses. It is completely up to you.

That was not directed to you at all CJ. Just a general statement. It would delight me and a lot of other people to see a lot of good information about all the brands and chice combinations, people are watching, I guarantee you. The time is right for more people to get into Turbines, I talk to a lot of interested people myself who are poised to buy.

Like will said, let's just have a blast and share all of the good and, let's face it, the bad ones too since we all know they are gonna happen. It's what makes the hobby, being able to share each others experiences. Will has provided a great avenue for just that. We just have to use it.
Richie, I wouldn't worry about the hat, once you hear the sound of that turbine you don't notice anyway. :smokin:
