Yesterday it said I was the newest member. I received an email saying I should be able to log on in about 24 hours..... However I still can't get on!
How long does it take to be able to log on? I would think that I would be able to if my name showed up as a new member???

I sent my cards in about a month ago, I never heard anything from them.

Just a thought. I am sure that someone has to manually activate the account on the Futaba Flyer's Club forum. The WRAM show was/is taking place in New York this weekend. So who ever activates the FFC acounts may be at the show. They should be back at Hobbico Monday or Tuesday.

I have sent several emails to them and nothing yet!! Hate to get this kind of service when you get a 2000USD radio :arggg:

Hell! I just bought my second 14MZ and still haven't gotten a response on my first which was purchased almost a year ago. Emailed them and didn't get the courtesy of a response. Just a real good thing the radio is as good as it is, however I understand an "off brand" company is handling the Flyer's Club....some anal retentive company called Hobbico....guess that's what you get when you outsource.

Will,
Thanks a million....I figured you would probably weigh in on the topic. The radio is worth every friggin' penney I paid, however I emailed and emailed the folks after sending in my registration card and got nothing back. Kinda' thought there was a t-shirt or something in the deal as well, however that might be asking too much.
As always, many thanks!

I had to email B Baxter quite a few times before I got mine straightened out. I think it's one of those deals where the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Gary,
Thanks. Can you provide his email to me at wolfdad@comcast.net. Is he with Hobbico, do you know? I hate to chime in with the ..."well, I paid $2K for a radio, but,"....however, BUT...if you know what I mean. And, it ain't gonna' go over too well with the purchase of a second one. :arggg:
Thanks again to you and Will,

Doc,
Futaba here in the USA is operated by Hobbico. Futaba/Hobbico is part of Great Planes Model Distributors many companies.
Yes Bill Baxter works for Hobbico. Bill works with Hobby Services. This the part of Hobbico that handles all the repairs and warranty work for OS, Futaba, and a few more items that Hobbico has exclusive rights.

David,
Please understand my comments about Hobbico, Great Planes, etc. are said with the greatest amount of sarcasm I can muster. Hobby Services, out of the entire batch, is the only one that has done ok by me, however even then, now without a couple of sticks of dynamite.
Appreciate the information.

It's funny that so many folks have issues with FUTABA - not sending login info after owners send in registration cards. I posted something like this on RCUNIVERSE and Baxtor chimed in saying he would take care of it.... NOTHING EVERY HAPPEND! I still to this day do not have access - what a half ass operation they are running.

Same here after multiple attempts to contact them and no results. Two 14MZ's and all the paperwork filled out and sent in and, absolutely nothing. I don't blame Futaba....just their idiot US representatives, Hobbico...not a good choice. And, my current thought process is to contact Futaba coporate headquarters with a detailed narrative of the entire situation.
