The Dog lives here
The best camera for videoing Helicopters
I get this question a lot, "Dog what is the best camcorder for videoing helicopters?"
Like most things, the more you spend the better results you will get but just like RC Helicopters buying the best does not mean you will get the best results
For the money, ease of use I recommend the Canon HV20 for a little more than $600 but... If you can wait a few more weeks the HV30 will be out that adds the ability to shoot 30 frames per second progressive. That will make stunning video that will also look great when uploaded to the web BUT you will have to spend another $200-$300 dollars to get it.

after buying a hard drive camcorder, I regret not having an eyepiece viewfinder, what do you suggest with a more conventional eyepiece instead of a flip out screen?Posted 02-20-2008 at 11:16 PM by WayneBrown
