Building your group idea

I was thinking... (I know "rare") Anyway I was thinking that I need to add more people to my "invite only" group. The Mid Virgina RC club but I could not remember everyones User name, here on the Freak, that lives locally. Then it dawned on me.
The HeliFreak Locater!
You can form a local group by adding yourself to the locater. See where they are (If you click the pins their name shows up) then politely PM'ing the local folks in you area. Something like:
I will be here all day folks!!!

I see you live fairly close to my field and was wondering if you wanted to go out and fly helicopters sometime. Let me know.

I've done the same thing many times myself. That's why I've always been an advocate of the HF locator.
