Well this month is just about half over! And IRCHA is 23 days away! (22 for me!)

Went out flying with the guys yesterday (Sunday) after a long 10 hours at work! Brought my Goblin and Team Heliproz Whiplash (the Team Heliproz Whiplash never made it out of the truck. ). I wanted to see if placing rubber washers under the metal washers would fix the slight fuel leak I was having.

It did in fact! I put in 3 wonderful flights with no leaking. Even though it was warm,...

Here we are...almost the middle of July!

First flight with the governor was a success! I might switch to a Stator Gator down the road, but for now, it is working great. I set the head speed on the low side as I’m still working on breaking in this motor. On the 20th flight, the motor started sounding more powerful. And on flight 22, I increased the head speed to that of my Whiplash settings…1750 normal, 1850 idle...

Inverted - 3 continuous left-right-left runs with turns!!!

drop rates and bell gain down to standard sport settings- much calmer now

all good flights.
straight inverted run and manage to turn heli 180 deg for return run.

notice bell gains are high at 68 at 260 rates,

forum advises 50 to 55 with 240 rates. going to lower both

Success! Another Goblin Gasser is flying!!!

As we arrived, we were greeted by our wonderful host and CD Cindy and Dennis. After several minutes of conversation, I asked Cindy if it was ok to maiden my new Goblin Gasser. She said no problem! I informed her that I would go to the far end of the runway just in case.

I fueled my Goblin and found a small leak in the fuel return line at the tank. It seeps, but not bad enough to be concerned...
