I finally took the step, I bought a new Charger: Robbe Powerpeak EQ 6S. I'm done with my Robbe Li-Po charger. This new one is so great I asked myself why I didn't bought it earlier. Also got rid off my old starter and bought a brand new dynatron starter. Now just need a good startershaft and perhaps some starter batterys to make it portable. I also need a new electric helicopter, because it's spring, we originally weren't allowed to fly it our location, because the new...

Almost FUBAR

Posted 05-15-2009 at 10:17 AM by skigolfmike

I really managed to almost screw up my DX7. I decided to put in the Dimension Engineering Voltage Regulator to improve battery life. Plus I was thinking of getting a TX Lipo to go with it so I really didn't have to think about charging. Just go fly.

Good Time at Cincy Fun Fly

Posted 05-11-2009 at 02:06 PM by skigolfmike

A bunch of us from Dayton went down to the Cincy fun fly at Joyce park in Hamilton this weekend. It was the usual suspects with myself, James, Justin, Scotty, Chago and a couple more that I don't remember their names. Bill (billbill242000) also stop by, but he didn't bring a heli.

The weather was interesting, with 25 mph winds gusting to 40, making flying challenging. Unbelievably, there were only 2 minor crashes that I witnessed. One was a tail strike on a 600 that took out the...
