Slope soaring with the Blade 400.

5 m/s wind really adds to the 'realism', particularly if you live in the UK. The virtual flying field in the vid could be any number of hilltops close by.



Shame Youtube ate the quality of this one.

A real Confidence Booster

All Hail to Phoenix RC, for the past couple days i've managed to actually hover right side on, fly away from myself, turn the heli and fly back to myself. I've also been able to fly large high circles & this is all down to time i've spent on phoenix. The funny thing is, no matter how i tried when i first picked up the hobby i just could not get off the ground using the sim. I had to leave it out, went out & tried & tried until i could get the off the ground, bearing...

Practising turns specifically in last nights Phoenix session. I have noticed I am more comfortable turning right to left than left to right but I am getting there. Maintaining altitude is something else I really need to work on.
