CopterX 450AE V2 - First impressions

I bought a bare airframe, into which I'll be fitting my components, stripped from a 3DX-450 *spits*. The intention is to have a second bird for night flight, as I never get around to putting on lights on my main rig.

The kit itself is good, as I had come to expect, and comes without...

Not sure if it was because I was rushing around so much, but during the first pack I just got a bad case of the nerves and couldn't shake it.

All I could think about was crashing and I had to literally talk myself out of it.

Granted this was flight #31 and #32 and all I was doing was flying...

Not nearly so chicken after today!

Posted 02-18-2008 at 03:54 PM by Trooper Sam

At last, I've crossed a major hurdle in my RC helicopter experience.

Today, at last, without it being an emergency, I pulled the hold switch and did my first planned autorotation.
