Here we are...almost the middle of July!

My Goblin Gasser

I set the head speed on the low side as I’m still working on breaking in this motor. On the 20th flight, the motor started sounding more powerful. And on flight 22, I increased the head speed to that of my Whiplash settings…1750 normal, 1850 idle...

Couple of more days...and this month will be half over! Not to mention, IRCHA is right around the corner!!!

My Goblin Gasser build continued...

10. Programming the cyclic servos! I've done this many times and this time I programmed the servos and Beast X receiver on my workbench versus on the heli...weird! But it worked and the servos are centered. So now the swashplate is nicely centered, then I installed the rotor head and connected the washout arms...hmm, those arms...

I’ve been working with Mark trying to overcome some of his fears with orientations. He’s been doing better with counter clockwise circles, but has problems with clockwise. It wasn’t until this last weekend that Mark finally “plowed” through his right hand turns (clockwise). Mark wanted to try a loop, but before he could do that, he needed to enter the loop straight with a little speed…at...
