So, you apparently can't paint a girls bedroom one color. I thought ceiling white would look nice on everything.

Daughter 1:
Ceiling: Ceiling White
Walls: Orange
Trim (Doors and baseboards) : Blush Tone Pink
Windows: White

Daughter 2:
Ceiling: Ceiling White
Walls: Purple
Trim (Doors and baseboards) : Easter Pink
Windows: White

I have to admit, they both turned out really nice.

Who came up with the idea for popcorn ceiling anyhow? That stuff is LOUSY!

First off, never fix up anything in your house. You will live to regret it because it is like a virus that spreads.
I started out to fix up our kitchen. Of course, since the dining room is adjacent that had to be part of the deal. Well then of course you need new drapes, table, china cabinet, etc. Not to mention if you paint the ceiling, it runs into the hall and now you have to do the hall, etc,...

My daughter just had her wisdom teeth removed this morning. She was quite worried about the whole thing but it went well. Her friend offered to help out by selling her pain-killers and giving her a cut of the profit. Friends are helpful in difficult times!
