Little Alien
My first heli ("Little Alien") is a beauty and flies like a beauty, and with the RobZulu canopy, she looks a little bit like a nice flying alien. Inside are the 3-axis gyro (RX2610S), HP08-2 motor (CJ) directly soldered onto an XP12A esc, which drives a Dkfuji FBL head and CF blades using an 18 teeth pinion gear. Just wanted to show a weird wobble after a minor crash, probably due to a malfunctioning aileron servo. Apologies for the vid quality. Just start watching from 20 seconds onwards.

Specs:

• HP08-1S motor with 20T pinion gear
• OS 500 mAh 20C Lipo
• Plastic 4G3 swashplate
• Dkfuji CNC FBL head
• Balanced stock foamies with vinyl taped ends
• Titanium tail servo rod
• Microheli tail cage and tail slider

Tested the XP12A esc on my 4G6 as well. The stock motor runs wonderfully, until it gets too hot. Now waiting for the HP07-2 which Dkfuji acclaims is a good alternative to the HP08-2S. I ordered 2.

My 4G6 has the following setup:

• Stock motor with 14t
• Stock Rx/HH gyro (i.e., not the 3-axis gyro)
• XP12A esc with the 2mm gold connectors, so I can use the same Lipo's for both helis.
• Gaui mixer arms
• Plastic 4G3 head with stock Flybar
• Full plastic 4G3 swashplate

OK, so here is my blog on my 4G6 adventures.

My current setup includes the following:

• HP08-1S motor + 20t gear
• WK-10A ESC
• 2mm gold connections between motor and ESC
• 3-axis gyro/Rx
• 2mm gold connections between ESC and Lipos
• stock frame/servos/landing skids
• ProCrusher's hardened 4G6 main shaft, connected to main gear using a modified paperclip jezus pin.
• CNC swashplate
