That does look like it could be a decent deal.Would definitely have to check it out first.I wonder if its TT or belt drive tail.If your really interested Id be willing to meet up and help you look it over and give some opinion.Im very wary of used stuff.If the person does actually have a Tx setup to it already checking it out wouldnt be too much effort.If not it wouldnt be hard to slam a basic setup into a radio to check it out.I wouldnt buy it without doing this along with a few other things.
Maybe Ill give the person a call and do a prelim for you and see if its worth further effort.

If it runs, sounds good and has good smoke, then go for it. He says no transmitter, take a transmitter to bind to his AR7000 to test it. You want to see all the servos move freely and quietly. Sounds like you just need a canopy, thats cheap, you can usually get ones from HeliDirect that have small cosmetic scratches or tiny cracks for half off...

You should see if the boss man would bring it in to Hobby Town on consignment for you and hold it till you get the cash, it might be more secure that way. If this seller gets somebody with cash, he will let it go right from under you, unless you put cash down, but do you want to trust some stranger with your cash and heli?... I wouldn't.

if he dont have a radio. i bought a jr9303 used for a good deal. i could bind to it.

Like Scott said, you will have to go through a pretty extensive setup in the radio, you will need to anyway, but if he has a TX to demo with then that is a better deal.
