Looking good Rob, I am getting real keen to paint mine. Two tone grey should look good and be a bit easier to see than the camo paintwork.

Have you tried the 84mm tail blades yet?

I tried the 84mm blades on the weekend, it was real windy on Saturday and the Cobra handled the wind better than with the 75mm blades. On Sunday it was nice and calm and I did not really notice any difference.

Cool. Either way, they are closer to scale. The real ones are nearly the height of the stinger.



Primer coat #2 this evening.

Primer coat #2 is on. Tomorrow, I will wet sand...hopefully not much needed. I will use a smoother grade of sandpaper this time. The primer is pretty soft, so it sands down fast. It took two large rattle cans. I didn't think to weigh it before primer. I am hoping the majority of the weight went up in overspray and evaporated propellant. At $11 per rattle can, it's not cheap either.
