Lipper I heard that Compass was coming out with a flybarless head specifically made for the Trex 500.

gww528 I have the Compass FBL head on a Knight 600e and it works great. I also was thinking about using this head on the Trex 500. Anyone try it on their 500?

Compass (ATOM) 500 flybarless head

Been doing some research and so far nothing concrete so here goes..... I'm looking to go flybarless with my Trex 500. I like the style of the Compass heads and I know the shaft is the same size but will it work in the Trex frame? Has anyone tried this setup yet and how well does it perform? The Compass style head is very clean looking and quite easy to adjust and maintain IMO. So what's the verdict? I've seen all the usual suspects for the Trex but I'm thinking outside the box on this one! Thanks for the responses!
