Katstrike I ran into an issue with these settings. The travel at 125% caused a servo issue. The other day ailerons would not respond. Upon further inspection, they were moving but VERY slowly.

I tried a slurry of things, all of witch did not work, until i dropped the travel back down to 100%. Problem fixed and flight returned to normal.

Why would this have caused a problem? is 125% a over limit that should not be used?

I'm not a Tx expert but these settings seem to work for me and others will have different setup preferences. If you have any recommendations for me they would be welcome.

Hopefully this will help out those who are less familiar with the DX6i. I would like to thank Elamkin from rcgroups for the programming log template. Thanks.

P.S. - Forgot to add - I'm on the advanced swash settings and have extra weight in the canopy for FFF.

Wow you just turned my MSR into a whole new beast. The only thing I had to change was the normal throttle curve. 50 was just not enough to get it off the ground.

I'll be sure to send you the bill for all of the broken parts I am about to experience

RichKnapp I like how its smooth but yet when you want to piro like a witch you can.

No jumping from low rates to high just to piro fast. I like fast piro's but that may be why I go threw the OEM rotor blades in a couple flights. BTW I run a 9958 rotor blade. Don't flex or distort and a little more pitch to it.
Maybe give that a try with my settings. I'll EDIT my list and make that note.

Feb. 5/11 - Update
The file that was posted here Feb. 4/11 had the mix setting incorrect (the file did not format correctly?). I have amended the file and attached it below.
The file does not display correctly on my iPad, but it is fine using the latest Adobe reader on Windows. My iPad does not appear to display the form values correctly.

born ready Hi all. I'm trying to change from 'normal" to "stunt" on the throtle curve page.
On page 16 of the manual, it shows a little arrow next to the curve selected.
When I try to select stunt or hold...the arrow doesn't move.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm looking forward to your help.

rskoncepts I have the radio setup per this thread but notice left aileron is a lot faster than right. Servo is centered with trim and link centered. End points are 125. Any suggestions?

im still a little confused about the DR combi setting. Doesn't this need to be set to FM, in order to switch to flight mode 1?
Hi Derf:

I think this is the first time I have had this question on my settings. My understanding is that the mSR dual rates are controlled by the "gyro" on channel 5 and this is for Spektrum transmitters in heli mode. (See hydro's posting here on DRs: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread...ght=dual+rates).

I'm actually not sure if setting DR combi to the FM switch would make any difference in this case - my guess is probably not (other pilots would have probably identified this long ago if this was an issue). However, we both could try it out and see. I'll have to dust off my mSR and try it!
