Cold temps affecting it? You've seen the sticky on TT gears right? Just double checking.

ragtop01 03-04-2012 10:16 PM

yes my mesh is the tightest it gets with still being freely moving. shimmed, sanded and finessed.

Wh1teAfr1can 03-04-2012 11:02 PM

Not only that but the cold temperatures are not fun for the pilot lol

Yeah, 3-4min flight times have been all my thumbs can take before I lose feeling (here in MI) lately.

However, I have probably flown more this winter than any other. Temps have been fairly mild this season.

ragtop01 03-05-2012 12:46 AM

It's funny how cold flights get noticeably smoother after 3 Min. But flight quality falls of completely (like your fingers) after 6min.

+1 on that, its windy today. but it is warm none the less. are you flying a fusion? What area of Georgia are you in??

irishmatt18 03-05-2012 11:49 AM

Today is the nicest day I have seen all year... And of course, what do I have ready? well not my fusion... Its ok though, there really wasn't enough room to be doing big air where I did get to take her up. At least I got to fly though!!!!

Sad thing is its becoming windy season... :(

Oh man, sorry to hear about the fusion. Your kinda far from me. I was hoping to find a fellow fusion flyer close by.

Scured 03-05-2012 07:15 PM

yeah id like other people to fly with as well. there is only 2 that i know of, one is Clint Akins. and another guy. But they never fly with me..so i bought a gene and fly alone. o well.

We got a decent amount of snow last night so I had to shoot some video this morning.

I never had any gear issues and I've only ran the white ones. The TT gears are old orginal velocity gears when it first came out but the main/tail drive gear are new stock. Yes the video above has no 3d but the video below is how hard I can 3d it :D

Slyster 03-05-2012 09:41 PM

That snow video was beautiful! I didn't even know that Kentucky got snow...

CeeveeSiN 03-05-2012 09:43 PM
